Just across the road from the beach to dunk your toes in. One convenient block to Cotton Tree restaurants and Sunday market. Lots of windows and walk out balcony looking north over tree tops to the surf and Mt Coolum makes the flat lovely, light and airy.
Foreshores, the building the flat is in, was probably built in the 1970's. It's a 3 story walk up, and my flat is on the top floor.
I'm a low level consumer, so it's furnished with mostly second hand and re-purposed goods ( I bought the beds brand new though!). No bling here :).
It's a peaceful space where you hear the surf, birds chirping, and see the pelicans take their graceful glide between Maroochydore river and Mooloolaba river each morning and evening. Great sunset views from the balcony too.
We have air-conditioning, but I hardly ever use it... preferring to leave windows and doors open to bring the ocean breeze through. There are usually a few hot humid summer days that pretty much demand I close things up and run the a/c though.
As I mentioned, it's a 3 story walk up. So please be aware of this if you have issues with stairs.
Your guest bedroom has a ceiling fan and lot's of screened windows facing South. There is generous wardrobe space, side-table, and a desk and chair.
The shared bathroom has a shower, basin, and W/C with a door.
You're welcome to make yourself at home and use the kitchen and clothes washing machine anytime.
Interaction with guests
You'll find I'm an easy going person. Happy to have a bit of chat, or not... as it suits you.
Other things to note
There is street parking with no time limit, right outside the building. There's also a beach side car park across the street (it has a 4 hour limit).
If you're a reader you're welcome to explore my small library of books... mostly 'personal development' themes.
I have a sensitivity/reaction to strong perfumes, aerosol deodorants, and incense. So please do not use these during your stay, thank you.
