This rustic cabin in the trees sits on the south side of the La Sal Mountains. With a full kitchen and bathroom this is a great getaway for any small family, group of friends, or couple. The queen bed and two floor sleeping mats means that everyone will be comfortable at night and have plenty of space to play games during the day. With Moab just around the corner your group will have plenty to see and do.
This cabin sits in the trees on the La Sal Mountains. Perfect for families or groups that love to see the sites but want to be away from it all. There is plenty of space to kick back and relax or hike the 4 miles of trails through the canyon along the creek. With Moab just 45 miles (73 km) away you're never going to run out of things to do. This is central to Arches and Canyonlands/Needles National Parks. Also, many ATV and Mountain Biking trails are in the area that are accessible from the ranch.
There is a full kitchen with all the cookware needed to provide a great meal. The bedroom features a queen bed with two sleeping mats (please bring blankets or sleeping bags for the mats). The bathroom features a full soaking tub with a separate shower. The power for the cabin is provided by Solar so please, no curling irons or blow dryers. You will LOVE this place! Additional cabins are available on the same Ranch if you have friends or family that would like to join you.
This cabin is completely off the grid. All of our power comes from Solar Panels, there is plenty of power to suit your needs. We ask that you don't use hair dryers or anything that pulls a lot of power. Since we are so remote cell service is limited in some areas of the Ranch so please keep this in mind. Since we are off the grid and want to allow you to relax, there is no wifi at our location.
Pets are allowed upon approval and with $30 fee per pet per stay.
My wife and I are outdoor enthusiasts. We love hiking canyons, riding trails on our UTV/ Jeep, and riding horses up in the mountains. We have lived in the Canyonlands area for several years now and know some of the best areas for sightseeing, and hiking. We love to have people stay at our cabins, because usually the nicest people come here and we love to meet new people. In the Winter you can almost always find outside with our cross country skis or out snow shoeing. My wife also loves to bake and likes to give baked goods to our guests. So come stop in for a snack.
