Welcome to my new spacious and cozy studio. The studio is attractively furnished and located in Nieuw West a quiet neighbourhood, green and with shops and museums nearby.
The studio has his own facility's (bathroom and small kitchen facilities) and is ideal for longer stays but also for a few days.
Neighbouring areas include the Olympic Stadion, Museum Square, Vondelpark. Schiphol Airport is at 10 minutes by train and tramline 2 takes you directly into the city centre.

The space

The studio is equiped with a private shower and toilet and the bed is located on a mezanine, that's wy the room looks really spacious and you have lot of space.

Guest access

You share a private entrance but when you are in the studio the room is completely yours. My nephew is living in the appartment upstairs.

The place is well organized. Dorothea has left traditional cookies as welcoming. The station is very close to take you to active places.

The bedroom has to be reached by climbing a ladder with very narrow rungs that hurt the feet. It is in the attic like place and the roof feels very close and claustrophobic. There are no cupboards and extra seating in the room for more than two people. The shower area has absolutely no privacy which is not at all comfortable when you are with family. Also as the walls are very thin you have to be mindful that you don't speak loudly either among yourself or on the phone as the host immediately comes and tells you so. Even after paying so much you don't get what you are entitled for. Other than the surroundings, the room itself is not great with respect to amenities . I would not advise families or older people to stay there unless the host improves the amenities

Response from Dorothea:
Dear Jatin, thank you for your review. I Always like to hear when people aren't satiesfied but I think it is always better when you say it directly so I can offer you some solutions during you stay. I asked you several times if everything was ok for you... The room is furnished for two people, you booked the room together with your husband cause you wanted to visit your daughter in Amsterdam. You did not mentioned to me that she would be a guest as well. We/ I don't mind people calling or talking but I when they are almost shouting through their phone on handsfree then I am so free to ask to lower down your voice. As for the ladder and bathroom, when you see the pictures on my account it looks pretty clear that you have to climb the ladder and that the shower is open. The toilet can be closed by a door and can be locked. The shower is an open space but most people call this modern and fancy. Perhaps you should have looked for something which was more suitable for you. Sorry but I can take criticism verry well but it has to be on fair grounds. Hope your daughter is going to have a great time in MAsterdam during her stay in Amsterdam this year.

Very content with the apartment, just a bit long but nice trip to the center by a convenient tram up to the center.

My stay in Dorothea's room was very good, she was very available, the room is nice and enough for living in two persons, it's very quiet house and district. In the room there are all you need for your living (also city guide and map).

Very clean and spacious room. In a very quiet, residential area. In room access to a fridge, coffee maker, sink, and private bath. Easy to get to public transport, but far from the city center. Took about 30 minutes by tram. Dorothea was easy to communicate with and always available for questions. Overall, good experience.
