Book the room a couple of days in advance so that you will have time to go through landlord's email about driving direction. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map only leads you to a mining company! Do not go there at night as it's said in landlord's email, it is in the middle of nowhere. You can't contact landlord when you are lost because there is no cell phone service in that area. Again, get prepared in advance!

Response from Jerry:
We emailed direct driving and arrival directions to guest. Guest decided to try using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps GPS instead of following the directions. This place is so easy to find with easy to follow landmarks along the way. Everyone finds it very easily and it is well marked. Guest showed up at midnight and had some obscure cell phone, and didn't contact me until the next day. Sorry that you decided to return to town and rent a room there. You missed a great opportunity to stay in an amazing western house. In the future, please follow the directions that Airbnb sends to you. It is correct. Yes your advance preparation you have suggested to future guests is to follow the directions which you did not do as suggested. Hopefully next time you will follow them.

Exactly what I wanted. Something secluded and special, not in Moab proper. A great night's rest after a long day of adventures.

My wife and I are outdoor enthusiasts. We love hiking canyons, riding trails on our UTV/ Jeep, and riding horses up in the mountains. We have lived in the Canyonlands area for several years now and know some of the best areas for sightseeing, and hiking. We love to have people stay at our cabins, because usually the nicest people come here and we love to meet new people. In the Winter you can almost always find outside with our cross country skis or out snow shoeing. My wife also loves to bake and likes to give baked goods to our guests. So come stop in for a snack.
