My friends and I were blown away by Goodyacre Farm! We were in the area for a wedding and did not get to check in until late in the evening. We were greeted by Nicole's husband, Joe, and were pleasantly surprised by the modern-but-cozy farmhouse-style space. We hung out on the comfy sectional, watched TV for an hour or so, and promptly crashed. I woke up in the middle of the night and was lulled back to sleep by the sound of rain falling on the tin roof--so comforting. The next morning, we woke up to find the most breathtaking view of the Smoky Mountains right outside our door. We strolled around the property and visited with a couple of pigs, donkeys, and one super-cute pup. The space was filled with many thoughtful accents- A small table next to the pedestal sink in the bathroom that provided ample space for everyone's toiletries, coffee grounds from a local cafe that made for a mean morning brew, local soaps and lotion, a handful of guides to attractions in the area. Nicole and Joe have thought of every detail! I am so glad we found this gem, and I wish our stay could have been longer. I would absolutely recommend Goodyacre Farm to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, peaceful retreat.

Nicole and Joe were incredible with making our stay wonderful. The living space was beautiful and thoughtfully done. Joe took the extra time to show us all the animals and tell us their stories, and I cannot put into words how happy all the animals looked. And even while it was on a farm the private living space was quiet and homey. We had an incredible stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.

What an awesome experience if you are looking for an 'in the country' experience that is still close to the action. We loved the accommodations, the super-cool farm animals, the vibe in nearby Canton and the walking trail and beauty of Lake Junaluska. Joe and Nicole were great hosts too. Our nine year old daughter (usually a city girl) loved it too!

What an awesome spot. Nicole and Joe have an amazing home. Right on the ridge top with beautiful vistas. Rescued farm animals, with great vibes all around. Our piece of heaven was perfect, clean, comfortable, all we needed. Thank you both and we will be back.

LOVED this place. The room itself is spacious, clean, comfortable, well decorated and even smells fabulous. The seating area around the fire pit is right outside the door and has a beautiful Smoky Mountain view. If you like farm animals, they're all accessible - alpacas, goats, donkeys, pigs and chickens. If not, you can just avoid them. The hosts themselves were friendly and on top of everything without being intrusive. If this place sounds good to you, just book it. You'll enjoy it.
