I had a wonderful trip to Ocean City and had a very pleasant stay here! It was well-located, close enough to the beach to go swimming whenever we wanted, but far enough away to escape the street noise. I was a little disappointed when I found that there weren't any cookie sheets or other such items to use to bake things in the oven, but there was plenty for us to cook some things on the stove.
The main complaint that I had was that the "Other things to note" section did not exist when I booked my trip. I learned that I had to bring my own bedding and towels when I received the welcome letter the day before my trip, which simply said, "PS: Don’t forget to bring your towels and sheets" towards the end of the email. As I followed up on this email with Bill, he continuously insisted that he stated this information on his AirBnB page and said that I should also bring extra toilet paper and other basic items. Since I'm newer to AirBnB, I asked where this information was on his page as I had clearly missed it-- it would be good for me to know where to look in future AirBnB postings for this kind of information. After the second time I asked him where it said that I needed to bring bedding and towels, the "Other things to note" section was added to the page, which was pointed out to me like it was there the whole time. (I took a screenshot of the page I was looking at during this process and was able to do a side-by-side comparison with the updated page. There was no "Other things to note" section nor any other mention that guests should bring basics like bedding, towels, and toilet paper.) That being said, Bill was responsive to my emails and answered my questions so that I could pack accordingly before the trip, and I'm glad that the "Other things to note" section is now there for future guests.
