Fabulous location in the Yorkshire hills. The view from the bedroom window over the valley and hills was stunning. Excellent facilities and comfort all round. Perfectly peaceful and quiet. Our host Alice was so hospitable and welcoming: helpful directions before arrival, guidance on lovely local walks, a delicious breakfast in the traditional farmhouse kitchen and fascinating insights into sheep farming. Thanks Alice; we'll be back!

What an amazing place and so peaceful. They really make you feel at home and you can have as much contact with the family there as you want! I believe a previous couple took one of their dogs for a walk!

A great location, excellent views for miles over the Yorkshire countryside. Quiet rural, would be a good location for walkers or horse-riding. Host was very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and of excellent standard. Breakfast exceptional. Will be calling again, even if work requires the 15 -20 min commute into York.

Alice and her father Chris made such an effort to make us feel comfortable and at home in their wonderful farm house. We arrived late and we're greeted with tea and cake and a warm welcome upon arrival. Our room had an incredible view west across expansive countryside! We enjoyed a walk the following day and were given recommendations as to where to go. You'll enjoy your time at this most hospitable of places to stay!
