It's a Boat! A boat with a cabin feel. Because it is a boat, it has boat character so you'll be roughing it slightly. It rocks in the harbor as other boats pass but is surprisingly quiet given it's proximity to Waikiki. The bathroom (head) is a little on the small size but hopefully you won't be spending much time in there. Disclaimer: we prefer you don't poop on the boat ;-). Marine toilets are a little sensitive and it is more eco-friendly to use the nearby harbor facilities.

Guest access

Also available are a couple surfboards a standup paddle board and a bicycle.

If you'd like I can also offer a flight in my airplane. It can be a short flight around the island or a day trip to another island depending on my availability.

Interaction with guests

I will be available for a virtual island tour. When my friends and family visit I typically have to work so on those days I give them pins of the best local spots available on the island. Tell me what you are looking for and I probably have "a guy."

The boat itself feels secluded on the marina and I was able to use it distraction free to get a lot of work done. It is also in the middle of Waikiki which made for a great experience when it came time to explore and have fun. Central to good food and several activities, the bicycle includes made exploring easy and fun. Very clean and professional, appreciate being able to come back for a second stay!

Yes, it's a boat but it's a one of a kind boat with a super host! The boat is clean and it has this unique feel with a kitchen, dining room, bathroom and a nice size bedroom. Ooh and let me tell you about the bed. It's so comfy! I travel a lot and I have this thing for bringing my favorite pillow cases from home as a comfort thing (it's a mental thing to make me feel like I'm sleeping in my own room). But this time, I didn't have to take them out of my bag because the pillows and the bed felt so comfortable. Seriously, I slept like a baby last night! By the way, the boat also comes with wifi, a bicycle and a surfing board. Ryan was so helpful and friendly. His videos and directions to the boat were on point. His attention to detail and his hospitality made my boat stay a memorable experience. It was the perfect get away for me. Highly recommend Ryan's boat as a unique alternative to staying at hotels or condos. You will not find a more perfect blend of location and solitary vacation feel near Waikiki. It is walking distance to the Modern Hotel, Ilikai Hotel, ABC stores and Starbucks. So if you're looking for an interesting spin on your next Hawaii vacation, stay a few nights at Ryan's boat. I can't wait to come back and share the boat experience with my family and friends. It was indeed a wonderful and unique experience. Mahalo Ryan!

Great visit and super nice boat. Clean and exactly what I was looking for in secluded spot that was also close to everything Honolulu has to offer. Thanks Ryan! Would definitely book this again.

Ryan's boat was amazing! It was super easy to find and it's in the Waikiki harbor so you're really close to night life, but far enough away that there is still some serenity. He offers detailed descriptions and videos with helpful tips for the minimal boat maintenance required for your stay. The boat also comes with a bicycle and a SUP board! Really clean and authentic looking, full kitchen, nice upper deck with party lights, did I mention the bed is really comfortable? Fun fact: Ryan is a pilot and offers tours around the island in his airplane! He can also help out with good local spots on the island just by car too. Great way to make your vacation memorable, will be back!! Mahalo Ryan, you were a great host.

You will not find a more perfect blend of location and solitary vacation feel. Being on a boat allowed for seclusion, quiet, and a good place to take in busy Honolulu without being in the middle of it. I highly recommend this as a unique alternative to condo living. You will have to engage the experience by finding groceries some facilities that are better than what the marina has to offer, but the value is invaluable. As far as a host, Ryan is the best there is. His attention to detail, his willingness to help out at any time necessary, his hospitality and good nature, made the trip worth it and easy to navigate. There is no better value in Honolulu or Waikiki. You may have to walk to some nightlife or restaurants, but the pay off of having your own boat and away from the crowds is something that is more memorable and worth it's weight in gold. The boat has a rustic Hawaiian feel but is spacious enough for you to be inside and comfortable and outside and comfortable, to enjoy sunsets, fireworks, and reading a good book. You can take surfboards and paddle boards to spots that are quality and close by. Or stay in the protected waters of marina and see foot long puffer fish underneath you. You can enjoy the nearby lagoon which is only a five minute walk. There's even a bike to get around if walking is not your thing. There is no doubt I will be back. Thank you, Ryan.
