My boyfriend and I stayed at Giuseppe's place for a couple nights while we drove around the Sorrentine peninsula. I have to say: if you're from the American Midwest, be prepared for the most stressful driving experience of your life. Getting to the apartment is an ordeal. The place was clean enough, but very sparse. Instead of communicating through the Airbnb app, Giuseppe gave me his friend's cell phone number (thankfully he has (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)).

Nice cozy and authentic place in the little region Massaquano at the top of Vico Equenso. To get there you need use bus from center of Vico (bus schedule you can find in official site (URL HIDDEN) or you can rent scooter or car. By foot I got to apartment from the center of Vico for 1.10 hour. To beach you can get from bus station for 15 min by foot. Around the place there is store and many great restaurants. Owner is very nice man. He gived us all needed information and helped us when we asked. Best place! Thanks for great vacation!)

Giuseppe was a very friendly host. The Appartement is clean and spacious. I would recommend arrival by car though because it's about 35 minutes or more to Sorrento, depending on traffic. There is public parking available 3-5 minutes away on foot. Overall we had a great stay at this place and I can fully recommend it.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Giuseppe's apartment as a base for exploring the Amalfi coast and the Sorrento peninsula. We chose the town of Vico Equense as it is quieter with fewer tourists than the other more well known towns. The apartment was in a small village away from the town in the mountains. It was about a 45 minute, very steep walk to Vico Equense centre - luckily we only had to do this walk the first day. After that we hired a scooter! This was the perfect way to get around and made the apartment in a perfect location for the town and exploring the rest of the Amalfi coast. The apartment itself is exacty like the photos. It was lovely and clean and had everything you needed. We had a lovely walk welcome from one of Giuseppe's friends. Giuseppe also organised airport transfers for us which was great. Overall a great place to stay! Transport is definitely advisable!

Location is nice if you travel with a car, forget it with the bus. Shops and restaurants around. Place itself is surrounded by houses, but with a nice garden and gallery with benches. A little bit expensive though, for what it is.

Great apartment in a quiet place in Vico Equense. Make sure you rent a car or something because it's on top of a small mountain. If you have a car, it's great to stay there, Amalfi coast is reasonably close (around 1 hour by car), as well as Sorrento for the trips to Capri (30 min or so). The apartment is private, but in the "villa" there is another family living in the first floor. The apartment is located in the ground floor with a usable terrace. Expect to be charged the Italian city tax for tourism (3€ per day). Overall, a nice place to stay a couple of days to visit the Amalfi coast, and it has it's charm, because it is decorated with classic furniture and all.

Thanks Rubén for having shared your experience. The city tax is 1,50 € per adult per night and as clearly stated in the airbnb announce. Thanks for the suggestions, we appreciate so that we can improve our service.

We loved our stay in vico equense. Its near all the cities on the amalfi coast and the house is big and spacious. It was nice to have parking because we were arriving late by car. The parking was not on site but the lot was just down the street. Overall a good stay in a quiet location where we easily reached our destinations by car.
