We loved our stay at the Little House of Red. The room was clean and comfortable, with a separate (private) bathroom in the house. Ruth, Pete and the children were all very friendly and accommodating, and made us feel more like family guests. We also very much appreciated Ruth's local wine knowledge, and had a great day touring the local vineyards. I would definitely recommend this lovely studio - the only thing I would say is that if you go midweek, be prepared for a few of the smaller local places being closed. Thanks Ruth, Pete and family!

When staying here you feel really like you escaped the city! Chucks running around and the sounds the country side is what makes it a really enjoyable country stay. Very sweet touch to have instant coffee, tea, fresh milk, condiments and toast in the fridge for brekkie

We loved our stay!! It was perfect for us seeing as we were in the hunter just for the night for a wedding. Ruth's husband was even lovely enough to drop us at our wedding which was extremely helpful. Has everything you need for a short stay, and lovely surroundings with lots of animals to play with :)

Ruth and her family were welcoming and very accommodating with our later than expected arrival. The room was lovely and everything we needed was provided. A lovely bottle of local rose wine was waiting for us, plus some lovely jam and toast for breakfast. Highly recommended

Thanks for a great stay! We were so surprised to find a porta cot for our little one - made our day as we forgot our own! The kids loved the animals and the pool :) we will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Thanks again.

We moved from Sydney's North Shore to the beautiful region of Broke a few years ago and have never looked back. A quiet life in the country? Hardly! There's plenty to do out here - it's as peaceful as you want it to be and we rarely stop to smell the roses - but when we do they smell very sweet indeed. We run a small plant nursery on the property, plus a vineyard (yes, there is wine to taste!) and have horses and dogs.
