The house is in the heart of a characterful old town with narrow streets. The house is light, airy, spacious and a pleasure to live in. In this location you are spoiled for choice for what to do and to visit next. The sun and blue skies forever will relax and revive you and make you fall in love with southern France like so many others. The markets are handy and frequent. Place mobile vendors come most days of the week, fresh bread, wine and provisions are an easy stroll away at the shop.
The house has two levels but the stairs to the bedrooms, bathroom and sun terrace are wide and easy to manage and have a handrail. You can park outside to unload, but longer parking is in the next street or other car-parks very nearby. We have Wifi and English television and a fully equipped kitchen and large pantry. There is a guide which will let you know where the local markets are. We have found the local people friendly and helpful and the whole La Maison Jaune (the Yellow House) experience is an enjoyment you can't have enough of.
You will have access to all the facilities of the house.
Interaction with guests
You will be welcomed by a local agent and shown around the house. You will have their contact details to get in touch with should anything need to be attended to. The house has a good guide to the house and the area.
Other things to note
This is not really suitable for children younger than 18.
We are from Dunedin New Zealand, we are both in tertiary education and live on a pennisular 40m from the sea. We enjoy french village life, the enjoyment of having been to the patisserie and market to get treats for dinner sitting in a cafe over a cafe and a grande creme people watching and soaking up the ambiance pondering where to go for lunch and which great diversion to distract us in the afternoon. Just bliss!
