Penarbronydd is a renovated cottage, in secluded gardens, with views to the mountains and Menai Straits.
An ideal base to explore Snowdonia, or for a walking, climbing or cycling break in the mountains. A perfect stopover en route to/from Ireland (approx 30 mins from Holyhead). Located near Bangor and the University.
Well placed for such attractions as Zip World and Surf Snowdonia, then there's the castles and the beaches ....
After your day, relax by the log fire in your own sitting room.

The space
The guest area is for your sole use and is situated to one end of the house.

You have private use of a bathroom and your own sitting room with a log-burning stove. Breakfast is served in this room. (Help yourself to tea and coffee here too.)

With a spacious, comfortable bedroom upstairs in the eaves, you'll wake up to great views and the sound of birdsong, with sheep and horses in the surrounding fields.

The bedroom is a very good size, and is easily made to accommodate a group, or family, of up to four, with a double and two single futon style beds.

Guest access
Access to the guest area leads directly from the main porch, where you can hang or store outdoor clothing and boots. Secure storage for cycles, or other outdoor gear is also available.

You are welcome to explore the garden or find a corner to sit with a coffee!

Don, my partner, and I welcome you to our home which we restored and extended nearly 20 years ago. We are both keen to spend time in the mountains and outdoors, which is what brought us to the area. Cycling has tended to take over recently. I enjoy gardening, though time is in short supply for this. More recently I have been swept up in a passion for quilt making. We have two grown up children and two grandchildren.
