Comfortable and serene double bedroom in a gorgeous apartment available for a short visit (including breakfast) or a longer stay. Full use of the facilities - ultra fast WIFI, gourmet kitchen, sumptuous living room and new bathroom with state-of-the-art double shower. The apartment is in a Victorian mansion block and has great views over the London skyline. The trendy local area is full of bars and restaurants. Easy access to central London by tube or bus or just stay and enjoy fabulous Fulham!
The private room is immaculately furnished in neutral tones and features a double bed with pocket-sprung mattress, brand new feather duvet and pillows, wardrobe, deep chest of drawers, two book cases, drop-leaf writing table and chair, fireplace and colonial-style shutters. The room overlooks private gardens from the fourth floor and is very quiet.
The apartment has one further bedroom, bathroom, eat-in kitchen and living room. The bathroom is newly appointed with an excellent double power shower, the kitchen fully equipped with all appliances including dish-washer, microwave and clothes washer-drier and the living-room is spacious and comfortable with a couple of Italian designer sofas, glass coffee table, flat-screen TV and sound system. Please note I am sometimes working in the living the room during the day, including playing the piano.
The apartment is on the fourth floor of a smart Victorian mansion block and has stunning views over the London skyline, including the Eye of London and the Shard. You will find the accommodation immaculately clean, tidy and in excellent decorative order. The furnishings are modern and the kitchen high spec but there are a wealth of original features.
The area is very popular with young professionals and is buzzing with countless bars, pubs and restaurants which can be found on the Fulham Road (at the end of my road), the King's Road, Parsons Green and at Fulham Broadway. There are several supermarkets close by, two tube stations within a 10 minute walk as well as numerous bus routes in and out of town. The number 14 bus runs all night from Piccadilly Circus and the West End and stops at the end of my road.
The river Thames is close at hand along with beautiful Bishops Park which houses the Museum of Fulham Palace, the historical home of the Bishop of London for hundreds of years. So if you enjoy river walks, a bit of history, hanging out with the smart, young crowd and easy access into the west end my place is definitely for you!
Private use of double bedroom, shared use of bathroom, kitchen, living room and all facilities including ultra-fast internet. A simple breakfast of tea, coffee, cereal, toast and fruit can be provided at no extra cost for short stays.
Interaction with guests
I will be there to meet and greet and show you the ropes, make sure you have the wifi code and know what's what. I'm chatty and friendly if you want to hang out but also respect others' space and privacy.
