Just North of the Cape Kiwanda main beach in a wooded area. A trail through the state park property winds 1/2 mile through the woods to the beach on the North side of the Cape. Perfect spot to unwind. Hot/cold outside shower for clean up after the beach. Full kitchen, gas fireplace, hot tub, DVD library, games, books.

The space

Good romantic get away for two of any age. Especially good for a family with young children. Quiet space away from the beach for clean up, naps and family meals.

Guest access

Full use of the downstairs 1/2 of a two family home. Built as a duplex with separate utilities, entrances, outdoor spaces. Driveway used for loading and unloading, guest parking is on the street at the bottom of the stairs.

Interaction with guests

We are retired and live upstairs. We sometimes see guests coming or going. If we our home and there is a question, just knock.

Other things to note

Close enough to the main beach to be connected, but far enough away to be out of the fray. North up the state park trail from the corner of the lot to an overlook of the North Cape beach.

This was awesome. My husband and I were celebrating a belated anniversary and it was perfect. I think this is a perfect property for one couple or a couple with 2 young kids. The trail off the back of the property was amazing and convenient. Everything was simply decorated which allowed you to see how clean the place is. Simple check out cleaning list. We walked to coffee and Pelican pub everyday as well as the beach. We ate twice at The Grateful Bread cafe which was great....wish we had a whole week to stay...will definitely be back.

The trail on the north east end of the property is amazing, and walking distance from anything else you would need. Perfect spot!
