If you like mid-century modern, this is an amazing space & fun as a get-away. You do share the bathroom with a roommate, but otherwise the room is tucked away and private.

Greta & Will were both so inviting and hospitable throughout my stay. If you appreciate MCM architecture then you'll love their house! Located on a quiet street near the water, their home is within walking distance to all that Havre de Grace has to offer.

From beginning to end was a breeze! We kept in touch by text before I arrived. The moment I met Greta and Will, I was over the moon and we connected immediately. I ended up spending hours in the den just chatting away and hanging out with them! Also, totally trust their opinion on food if you ask directly, true foodies in the house. I came in for 3 nights, also for a wedding like most prior guests (if you're flying in from BWI, rent a car). Totally forgot my travel steamer, and they had one! I was surprised and relieved, it's not something most people have handy. Every detail was there (water in room, towels, guide binder on the town, etc.) way more interesting than staying at a hotel. Honestly if there is anything you need that you don't see, just ask. I was welcomed with a tour of the impeccable, gorgeous house (complete weakness for mid century) and wanted to shop the basement of mid century goodies. Also made friends with the kitties, super calm and friendly, barely make a peep. Rosco slept with me the first night, haha! The third night, I ended up spending the afternoon through the end of the day with the two, and I honestly have not had a more stellar experience beyond expectations for an Airbnb in the US. These two, and the home are completely worth the drive. And Havre de Grace itself is a small, quaint, charming town easy to explore and walk around. Neighborhood is quiet. When you come to stay, don't just run to your room (which is in a separate 'wing' of the house), and not come out to chat. Would really be a waste if you don't get to know them. I cannot wait to come back and visit. I literally made friends for life, we keep in touch after I left, and that's part of why Airbnb is so amazing.

Greta was an awesome hostess! The house is beautiful and very clean. Bed was very comfortable! Would definitely stay again. Enjoyed our 20 min excursion to see bald eagles.

Response from Greta_Will:
I'm so glad you and Mark took the drive up to Conowingo Dam to see the bald eagles and other birds of prey. We've been seeing a great many more fly over our home recently with fish in their talons. Cheers!

Great place to live

We (Greta and Will) have been living in Maryland for 2+ years, transplants from Philadelphia, PA and fell in love with Havre de Grace, MD. We recently purchased our mid-century home and would love to share with you some of it's quirkiness. We look forward to welcoming you into our home.

We love our cats, eating all the foods and all things vintage. We love to travel together and have been to Bali, Singapore and Dubai. We look forward to our next trip in a faraway land.

Will has been to Peru, Argentina and Bolivia & Greta Costa Rica and all US states but 12. Don't forget Canada!

We enjoy staying in Airbnb's and boutique hotels, live like a local and stay away from the touristy spots. If you know of a mom & pop restaurant with 2 tables and the best curry in town, please send over the address!
