Please look for RV site #3 listing. Mackay is one of the most sought after destinations for the solar eclipse. We booked our BnB a year ago! This week we decided to open our mini ranch up for self contained RV rigs. 7 sites available. 6 for big rigs and 1 just for a smaller rig. Why stay in a dusty field when you can enjoy the spectacular beauty of Mackay and all the great out of doors that it offers? See our Lost River BnB listings for more pictures of our land.

The space

After this offer books I will put up another Airbnb page for the next RV site. So check back if you are having problems booking or scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the contact host button for further information directly from me.

Price includes first 2 adults and first 2 kids of appropriate age. Please, when you book do not include your first two kids of appropriate age in your booking request so you wont get charged for them, but do let me know that they are coming in your message to me. $5 per night for each extra child or adult. How many?... that is depends on how many you feel comfortable with in your rig.. One tent near your rig is OK, at no extra charge.

Guest access

You will have access to 8 acres of beautiful valley land with a small green pasture to park along. We often have wonderful sunsets. Your visibility for the eclipse will be supreme and you will witness the eclipse light changes against the spectacular Lost River mountain range. At night we generally have a full view of the milky way so bring your telescope. Also be sure to bring eclipse viewing glasses as they may sell out quickly in Mackay.

Interaction with guests

We will be around through the day to help with whatever you may need. We have lots of space for your toys, ATVs, trailers etc.

We will have a central fire pit where you may socialize with us and other guests.

Other things to note

Mackay is known for world class ATV trails so don't miss this opportunity if you have an ATV or dirt bike. Please stay on designated trails.

Beautiful place between two mountain ranges in Idaho. We were there for the solar eclipse dry camping in our own RV.

I am a retired nurse and my husband is a retired architect. John is building our country home here in Mackay. We love to travel and do so in the winter to either Mexico or Southern Arizona, visiting national and state parks, cities, art galleries and just plan boon docking where we can. We have a 26 foot Wilderness trailer that we travel with but offer it as bed and breakfast in the summer here in Mackay. along with a studio apartment with a fantastic view. We know what its like to travel and love to meet people who enjoy traveling also, sharing experiences and places to go. We have traveled as far as Costa Rica and Belize and even drove to Guatemala with two small children with a cab over camper.

We have several organic gardens and I am the president of the local farmer's market where I sell some of our produce. We also love to paint. John does acrylic landscapes and I do pastels. Soon we will open a studio B&B suite on the second floor offering spectacular views of the mountains to complete our bed and breakfast retreat. We will also have a small gallery that features local artists.

Our dream is to create a hobby farm and are planning for chickens, a couple head of cattle and maybe a pigs. Although we are still in the early stages we have made a small pasture that irrigates from two ponds that make a nice scenic feature on our property which is nestled between mountains and looks down a dramatic valley with spectacular sunsets.

I do massage with many years of experience and am very interested in holistic health and organics. You can arrange to have a massage if you would like one. Massage is $30 per hour.
