The Bohemian Quarter/Richardkiez is is the burgeoning new cool area of Neukölln.
THE FLAT is warm, cosy and welcoming - exactly the place you'd like to call 'home' when visiting Berlin. 55 sqm2 apartment with high ceilings, stucco, beautiful wooden floor and tasteful furnishing. It has all the comforts of home in the vibrant area of Neukölln - located in the historic Rixdorf neighborhood, and away from the chaos of Kreuzberg, but not far away. It's a real berliner style flat in the backhouse/tranept of the building - it is very quiet here. The bedroom is big and has a comfortable big double bed (160 x 200 cm). The living room with open kitchen and a sleeping couch (120 x 200 cm) accommodates easily one extra person. You are welcome to play the 140 year old piano, which was a gift from my grand grandmother!
THE OFFER includes fully equipped and solid kitchen as well as (URL HIDDEN) is inclusive: internet, water, heating, electricity. Fully furnished, including washing machine, double bed, stereo with bluetooth connection for your mp3 player/laptop, sheets, towels, plates, cutlery, toaster, coffee machine, etc. (no TV though...).
THE AREA: 100 metres to historical Richard Platz in the Bohemian quarter. Close to Neukölln Opera and Neukölln Baths and all the cafes, bars and clubs of Neukölln/Kreuzberg. There is even an operating Blacksmith around the corner. Fresh local produce market twice the week 250m away. Many supermarkets within walking distance 150-300m. Parking is free in this area and you can easily find something around the block, often just in front of the door.
TRANSPORTATION to and from the flat is easy. Only 40 min away from Tegel Airport and 30 min to Schoenefeld airport (direct Bus connection). The S-Bahn Sonnenallee (Ring) and U-Bahn (U7) Neukölln can take you to any part of town, usually within 30 min. The direct bus M41 to the Hauptbahnhof (central station) is just around the corner.
There are no rules except the natural ones: Please close the windows and lock the door when you are out of the apartment, for nature's sake please use water and electricity in an environmentally friendly way and please respect the space as it was your own (i.e. please leave the place as you found it when you arrived)...
