Charming "pre-war" two bedroom apartment perfect for four people. Corner apartment with all rooms facing exterior. Large living room and big kitchen, great for people that like to enjoy some cooking. Located in Chueca, right behind the Supreme Tribunal and the French Embassy. Stately building with doorman. Cute and diverse neighborhood, cross La Castellana to be in Salamanca neighborhood or lose yourself in the Chueca/Justicia streets full of high-end boutiques and great restaurants.
The apartments is quaint 110 sqm home, although it is from the earl 1900's so the floor creeks and it even has a little slant! Especially in the kitchen. You don't really notice it, but guests should know this apartment has character! In the good sense of the word. The walls are thick so you dont hear neighbors walking or talking on other floors. Please be advised that the bathroom has an old cistern which makes some noise when in use.
Apartment is spacious on a third floor and full of light.
A bit of caution for guests that are noise sensitive: the rooms face a street with a little bit traffic, and it has old windows so you can hear some road noise even though it is on the third floor. It is normal city noise, nothing out of the ordinary. Closing the shutters keeps most noise away.
Other things to note
Please note we don't have a TV in the apartment. We do have high speed internet though.
- Quite after midnight.
- Follow bathroom guidelines (the toilets are very sensitive!!) only toilet paper please. (No hair, lady products, really anything else besides toilet paper and human necessities). Guest holds full responsibility.
