We stayed at the inspiring suite arlésienne in the beautiful center of Arles. Christine's house is located in the center, nearby all commodities and in a peaceful street. It was a perfect location to attend Les Rencontres d'Arles photo festival. We enjoyed it very much and will keep it on our preferred list!

First experience in an airbnb. The room was absolutely as in the pictures, wonderful! The groundfloor is at completely disposition for the guests. The two hosts are so kind and ready to give advices of any kind. Just few steps from the arenas and the rest of the city center. Perfect!

THE PLACE to stay in Arles Excellent location. Near the main places. But what was more important are the hosts. Christine and her husband so kind and helpful!!! More than what I expected.

FIrst of all, I hesitate to rave too much; what if I can't book future visits in Arles chez Christine because everyone else wants to stay here? But at the risk of writing too much, and with plans to book in advance before my next trip to Arles, here goes. First of all, this orderly and tastefully furnished bedroom and extra large bathroom (with lovely hand and shower soaps) are on the ground floor of a home - with a common room which also serves as a breakfast room and foyer, which Christine and her husband only use to enter and exit their living quarters on the upper floors. There are two large but discreet windows which open onto an adorable and quiet street - but one can close the shutters against the light, my security never felt compromised, and despite the close proximity (!!!) to the center of town, the morning and evening noise was minimal, if there was any at all. Need a quiet fan? An hot Iron? How about free breakfast, complete with a pot of perfectly brewed coffee? Done, done and done. For photography enthusiasts, the bookshelves are full of great titles - you might never get out the door! But the main reason I left late every day was because of the warm and engaging conversations my hosts and I got into each time our paths crossed. (That said, both Christine and her husband were very respectful of my privacy and never imposed themselves on my time...) This home has good vibes and this home has good people who will extend themselves to make YOU feel at home. (They even accompanied me on my walk to the train station, because one of my suitcases was so heavy - too many photography books bought during Les Rencontres de la Photographie!) Even if I don't need a place to stay on my next trip through Arles, I look forward to seeing my hosts again for at least a cup of coffee. This is AirBnb at its best; a nice place to stay, and a lovely way to meet nice people.
