This room is in a B&B called The Belle Of Hot Springs and sits right on the Appalachian Trail in the sweet mountain town of Hot Springs. The Belle is withing walking distance to the small downtown area which has restaurants, shopping and an art gallery.
The Honeybee Suite is very sweet & guests have really enjoyed the lovely antiques, space and comfort afforded in this room. The Honeybee Suite shares a very large hall bathroom with the Monarch Room.
The Belle is a lovely historic Georgian Colonial circa 1924 located in the Town of Hot Springs approximately 45 minutes North of Asheville. This home was originally built as a residence for students who attended the Dorland-Bell School for Girls which is now Warren Wilson College, a private liberal arts college just East of Asheville. I chose the name The Belle to weave the history of this home into its present day life. The Belle sits atop a gentle knoll on an expansive lawn well off the main street of the quaint mountain Town of Hot Springs and is shrouded with mature cedars, pines, japanese maples, dogwood trees, large boxwood shrubs and shares a border with the famous Appalachian Trail.
