Ever thought about doing something different? About having a unforgettable experience all while staying in happening Waikiki? Well this is your chance to live the dream aboard a super cute 26 ft boat in bustling Waikiki. Live the adventure, step aboard!

The space

This is a small, cute space perfect for two to lounge relax, sleep, and have a base camp for daily activities around the island. There a table, couch, bed, and cockpit deck area. Gently rock with the motion of the ocean as your home away from home!

Guest access

The boat is NOT available to take out, untie any of the lines connecting it to the dock, or leave the slip. The inside of the boat is all yours minus the hatches. The hatches are off limits since they contain personal items and boat operations stuff like pipes, pumps, and tanks just to list a few things. The little sink aboard doesn't work unfortunately due to its temperamental nature. There is a hose at the slip which can be used the the onshore bath rooms are the main access to toilet, shower, and a sink.

Interaction with guests

Please send me messages and consult with the listing for all the information you will usually need. Of course in an emergency dial 911 and get out to the road. But I am usually available to answer and questions via the airbnb service or by texting me.

Other things to note

This is a boat. It rocks, shakes, and moves when you step aboard. It's possible and not recomended to fall off the boat into the water. It is not recommended at all to go into the water of the harbor. The experience of living on the boat is more rustic than staying at a hotel. The ceilings are low, probably about 5ft high, and you need to bend over to walk around inside the cabin. Things like the bathroom, shower or the lights take more care and attention than usual. Also, there is a fan on the boat, but usually the boat will be hot during the day. Please make plans to leave the boat and check out the island since this is a wonderful island!

Its is CRITICAL that you don't bother the neighboring boats or people. Late check out or early check in are a $30 charge. If you lose either of the BATHROOM keys it's a $300 charge. Just please don't take them off the boat unless you're headed to the bathroom and then rehang them on the light near the bed. No smoking, $200 charge for smoking inside the boat. If you loose the lock it's a $50 charge. If you break either of the plexiglass doors I will charge you whatever they cost to replace, probably hundreds. Be careful with them and please put them in canvas the blue case designed for them. To turn on the lights, please turn the big red knob (right side of cabin when entering) to 1 or 2 on the dail and the lights should turn on. The switch for "cabin lights" needs to be on as well. The batteries should be charged but it the lights get really dim, and you're feeling a little adventurous, I can walk you through hooking up the battery charger. It's just the same as a car.

I really enjoyed the stay at the boat. The harbor was calm and nearby was a truck with delicious garlic shripms. I would definitely come back again.

Very unique place to stay in Waikiki! A boat on the harbor was a great way to start out our experience in Oahu

Staying on a boat in Hawaii is an experience everyone should try if you have big love for the ocean. I haven't met Larry with personaly but he was super easy to communicate and friendly on the phone. I realized sleeping on a boat is the best sleep I have ever get.

Upon arrival Larry's friend wanted an extra 30$ to check in a few hours early.(URL HIDDEN) The boat is extremely hot on sunny days, even with doors and roof vent open and the fan on (no A/C) . Not a good place too hang out when the sun is shining. Nights were a decent temperature to sleep with a few friendly roaches in the bed. The public (card accessed) bathroom/ showers are a couple minute walk back onto the main dock(URL HIDDEN) The cabin height of the boat and bed Length is roughly 5' tall, anyone around 6' in height may want to consider this . The cabin is lockable, but not the most secure if your worried about your valuables. The neighboring boat folks were very nice and friendly . Overall it was a great boat experience but if your looking for hotel/ house convenience you may want to re consider .

My husband and I stayed here and were very comfortable. However, we are both pretty short (5'6 and 5'7) and still managed to hit our heads on the ceiling all the time, haha. So I probably wouldn't recommend this for neither very tall people nor people with a kid as it is a very quiet environment. This is perfect for couples though and Larry was amazing in communication and answering any questions we may have. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Larry's place is fantastic. If you can deal with being a little toasty at night (there is a great fan that makes it comfortable) this is the place for you. The location is so quiet yet close to everything and a great breakfast restaurant. Plan on being out for the days as the boat gets hot during the day but that is what Hawaii is for! Larry was responsive to our needs and explained everything very well. The public marina bathrooms, beyond Larry's control, could use a little TLC and cleaning but if you can get past that, you'll have a fantastic stay!
