Our spacious yet cozy 3 bedroom house will help you to relax and melt your cares away during your stay in Cooper Landing. Whether you are soaking in the hot tub, reading a book from the library, enjoying the scenery from the deck, walking to the lake, enjoying friends by the fire pit, jumping on the trampoline, swinging in the hammock, watching the kids ride the zip line (unfortunately not set up for adults yet), or taking a siesta in one of our beds - you are sure to enjoy your time here!
Our home is perfect for families, couples, and friends alike. There is tons of outdoor fun for the kids - there is a trampoline, zip line, play structure with slide, swing, and a tire swing. For couples or a group of friends there plenty of options for hanging out together or solo. There is a fire pit, hammock, hot tub, large deck, and of course the trampoline (we get to have fun too) outside. Inside there are 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large common room, and a kitchen with a table that can accommodate 7 people.
Interaction with guests
We live on the property so, we can be around as much or as little as you prefer.
Other things to note
Our home is centrally located in one of the best outdoor playgrounds we know - the Kenai Peninsula. All of your excursions are just a day trip or closer away! You will be able to drive over to Hope for the day to catch some white water rafting on Six mile Creek or hike to Hope Point for stunning views of the Turnagain Arm and Cook Inlet. You could plan a day trip to Seward to see Exit Glacier, take a boat ride to the Kenai Fjords National Park, charter a fishing boat for halibut, or simply walk and explore the town. You could also spend the day in Homer or Girdwood. And of course, there is plenty to satisfy most right here in Cooper Landing. Whether you are fishing for trout or salmon on the Upper Kenai River, hiking up one of the many trails, taking a scenic float down the river, taking a guided horseback tour, taking in the Kenai Lake and Kenai Mountains on a guided kayak tour, enjoying the food at the Kingfisher, or sipping your afternoon cocktail on the deck at Princess you will find it impossible not to enjoy your stay in this quaint little fishing town!
Please no shoes in the house so, don't forget to pack your slippers. Also, you will need shoes to get from the house to the hot tub - flip flops would be perfect. It is very important that you rinse off before getting in the hot tub. Lotions, conditioners, soap, and detergents in your clothes can really mess up the tub. Guests are responsible for washing their own dishes and towels if they need to be replenished. There is a dishwasher and washer and dryer in the house. We are hopeful that you will treat our house as if it is yours but we realize accidents happen. We live on property so just let us know of any incidents when they happen and we will take care of them accordingly.
