This unit has been totally redone and redesigned, including an all new extended kitchen, granite counter tops, impact windows and doors, ceramic tile and a full bath along with a second half bath. Great place to spend a relaxing week in beautiful Sanibel & Captiva. This corner unit allows for outstanding canal views and privacy. It is one of, if not the best, Tennisplace condominium out there. Tennis and heated pool are just downstairs. Two bicycles are available free of charge. Enjoy!!!

The space

Important Notes:

- This condo is on the 2nd floor, not on the ground level. That is, access by stairs (no elevator).

- It comes with a covered parking space directly under the unit.

- Condominium bylaws: 1 week minimum rental Saturday to Saturday; except winter season where it is a 2 week minimum (February, March and April).

- Accommodates 4 guests.

WiFi, patio with table and chairs, heated pool, 2 tennis court, 2 bicycles, cable TV, outdoor grilling area.

Other things to note

- TENNISPLACE DOES NOT ALLOW TOWELS TO BE AIR DRIED OR HUNG ON THE RAILINGS.

- Tennisplace asks that towels be used on pool furniture.

- Tennisplace has private trash and recycling dumpsters to the right of the driveway exit.

- 10:00 AM Check-Out is required. Your cooperation is highly appreciated.

- The property and pool can be used prior to or immediately after check in/out.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: READ BEFORE MAKING A RENTAL VIA AIRBNB AND BEFORE USING THE UNIT, GROUNDS, CANAL, BOAT DOCK, POOL, TENNIS COURTS, BICYCLES, BICYCLE TRAILER, BEACH ACCESS, AND OTHER AREAS PART OF TENNISPLACE OR UNIT C21.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the use of the Unit C21 Tennisplace its related events and activities, I/we, the Airbnb guest rental party, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:

1: The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,
2: I/WE KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE OWNERS or others, and assume full responsibility for my/our participation; and,
3: I/We willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I/we observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I/we will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Airbnb host immediately; and,
4: I/we, for myself and on the behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS the Airbnb host of Unit C-21, their officers, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used for the activity, WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE OWNERS OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I/WE HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I/WE HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY DEFAULT IN RENTING UNIT C21, AND AGREE FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.

This is to certify that I/We, as parent/guardian with legal responsibility for this participant(s), do consent and agree to his/her release as provided above of all the OWNERS, and, for myself, my child and our heirs, assigns, and next of kin, I/We release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the OWNERS from any and all liabilities incident to my minor child's involvement or participation in these activities as provided above, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE OWNERS, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Swimming Pool has posted hours and detailed rules including a notice that: SWIMMING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. There is no Lifeguard on Duty.

In addition, NO SWIMMING IN THE CANALS on the premises.

This condo has a lovely view of a very nice canal surrounded by beautiful homes. Many restaurants and shops are just a short bike or drive away. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and clean.

We just spent a week in Ed and Carrie's place, and it was most relaxing and enjoyable. Their condo was VERY clean, and well supplied with clean, pretty dishes and utensils, etc. We enjoyed sitting on the porch to relax and read once the temp cooled off later in the day. We rode bikes to nearby restaurants, Pinocchio's Ice Cream and the Lighthouse. It was a short drive everyplace on the Island, to Bowman's Beach and Captiva beaches. Such friendly people in the complex too, a neighbor noticed we were staying there and left bananas on our patio table for us. There was plenty of closet space, dresser drawers, storage, etc. We would most definitely stay at their place again if we come back to Sanibel! Oh, and I should add Ed was very quick about responding to all my messages and questions while there, and even before our trip. Irma had moved thru the week before and he kept me updated on the progress of things getting back to normal there before we came.

Our stay in Sanibel was amazing We loved the condo for many reasons. The condo is right across the causeway bridge, so it allows for easy access to Sanibel or back to Fort Myers. The condo is updated and very nice. Another great bonus were the two bikes, beach chairs, outdoor patio, and great view of the canal. In addition, we could ride the bikes to the nearby lighthouse beach. We would highly recommend staying at Ed and Carrie's place, and hopefully will get back there in the future!
