Located just south of Silverdale, this peaceful log cabin can be yours for the evening. Enjoy the stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest from our private Guesthouse. Literally steps from the Puget Sound, you will sleep like a baby listening to the sound of the ocean waves and breeze through your window. Conveniently located 10 minutes to the Bremerton/ Seattle ferry, and close to hundreds of beautiful hiking trails and recreation in the Olympic Mountains.

The space

This 450sq ft private house is one bedroom and a 3/4 bath. The 180 degree view of the sound from the comfortable bed will relax you, the sounds of the waves will lull you to sleep. It is a perfect location for a romantic evening! Seriously, we get that comment a lot. :)
The accommodations are spacious, relaxing and recharging. There is a small refrigerator in the room, coffee and tea are provided (Full catering available-just ask the host for details).

Guest access

This unit includes your own private deck with two adirondack chairs, a fire pit, BBQ and eating space. There are two kayaks available for use, as well as the safety vests. Want to swim in the sound? There is an outdoor shower on your private deck a sauna available to use after your swim(*restrictions apply)! Plenty of room for parking. Bike friendly.

Interaction with guests

I always assume people come here for the beauty and the peace. I try and give you as much privacy as you need, but am usually around should you need anything. I have a information sheet in the room about local restaurants and activities.

Other things to note

While the hosts are very wheelchair friendly, the accommodations are not.
*Update As of 7/1, we have recently taken down 9 large trees on the property. While this does not affect your stay, the yard is a bit torn up from the excavator. Please excuse our mess :)

Scott and Nicole’s renovated boat house is idyllic. Nothing beats the gentle lap of ocean waves, the seclusion, and the chance to take kayaks out from your front door. And, they thought of everything—from coffee to candles, from fresh granola to wine. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat—alone or with my husband. Absolutely gorgeous!

Nicole's place is a little slice of paradise! The view is spectacular, the sounds of the sea lull you to sleep every night, and Nicole's little touches - the fridge stocked with drinks and snacks and her fabulous homemade granola - served to make this old road warrior feel spoiled rotten for a week! Get out of those cracker box hotel rooms and spend some time here instead, if you get the chance - you'll take a bit of it home with you, and you'll be richer for it!

Nicole and Scott are fabulous hosts! They accommodated my somewhat unexpected need, and were warm and friendly, as is this lovely little house. The views are unbelievable, and listening to the sound of the ocean waves, I've discovered, is the absolute best way to fall asleep! Spend some time here, if you get the chance. You absolutely won't regret it, and you're bound to build some wonderful memories.

Nicole's place is absolutely beautiful, right on the water in a studio type house with all the right amenities. Easy to get there but you feel secluded and cozy. Total inspiration for what life could look like! Nicole was really accommodating and offered great suggestions for things to do in the area. Highly recommend for a quick getaway or a weekend escape on the water!

This is an amazing place! So amazing that we changed our plans just so we could enjoy the peace and relaxation this boathouse offered...and did not regret our decision one bit! No tv, no microwave, NO PROBLEM! Only problem we had was that we only stayed overnight. Would loved to have taken the kayaks out!! We loved it and would stay again! Thank you, Nicole and Scott; you have a beautiful place!
