Here's where to eat in the area:
Osteria Vanchiglia, Via Vanchiglia 16. It ' a restaurant verae, excellent flour and pizza, but also other, all good at prices in a nice and lively.

Trattoria Ala, Via Santa Giulia 24. Historic Trattoria del Borgo. Family atmosphere and home cooking, fresh fish. Better book.
The Caffè Rossini, Corso Regina Margherita 80, offers an excellent and economical alternative to the classic restaurant; Here they serve an aperitif accompanied by a generous buffet at will.
Other exercises that I recommend:
The bakery, via Vanchiglia 45, is much more than a bakery, bread and sweets of great quality.
The Bottega del Gusto, Via Vanchiglia 32 D, the Lady Clare, prepared and courteous will guide you in the choice of typical specialties, cheeses, and salami.
Ball Supermarket, Corso Regina Margherita 27.

Borgo Vanchiglia, a particular corner of this city ' dynamic and always evolving. We are in the center, near the famous Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the largest European square with porticoes.
Vanchiglia, early century district. Worker's district and industrious forge of the city that takes consciousness of its industrial role.
"Village of smoke", his name in dialect, takes origin from the chimneys of artisan shops, factories, small factories, is now a trendy territory, cultural pole and residence of many artists. An extraordinary cocktail of people, cultures, trendy locals, live music, taverns and people who meet every night here. The nearby Campus Luigi Einaudi, new European University pole has brought here a multitude of children from all backgrounds and races that have overlapped the inhabitants of the village. The strength of the district is in its genuine simplicity.
Go for a stroll through these streets, calmly, be inspired by a local and sit down for an aperitif. It will not be time lost, you'll get in touch with the real, genuine soul of the neighborhood, and you'll understand that you are not in any place. Explaining it is difficult, trying it is easy.
Later you will surely have found a place to eat that will have intrigued...... and the evening will continue, maybe until late at night.
It is worth visiting Piazza Santa Giulia, the real hub of the neighborhood, in the evening the dehors overflowing with young and old. Boys sitting on the ground, dogs, children, in a crock and lively. In the morning, every day, the transformation takes place. A picturesque market local of other times occupies the square, many banks of fruits and vegetables, farmers who propose their products, merchandise of all kinds.
