The flat is a Colony house originally built by tradespeople for tradespeople and their families built around 1850. They are very charming and quiet, with a real community feel. The flat is very close to leith links ( where the first ever round of golf was played! ) and it's a 10 minute bus ride to Princes street at the heart of the city centre. You are also a 5 minute walk to all the superb restaraunts and bars in Leith.
The neighbours are extremely friendly and helpful and always up for a chat! There are a lot of families and young children in the street.
There is free parking outside and on the main road. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the front door.
