The House Next Door is nestled on a quiet, woodsy lot, making a perfect hideaway for writers. But proximity to restaurants, shops and entertainment in nearby towns makes it a fun spot for vacationers and families as well. The cozy living room includes a game closet and a collection of music on CDs. Newly added: Netflix, Amazon and other streaming services on a larger TV than in this photo, a DVD player and DVDs.

The House Next Door is a quiet, clean little house in the woods, perfect for writing retreats or small family get-togethers. Open common space with large table encourages leisurely sit-down meals. Or relax on the deck overlooking our farm. Great dining and shopping are 15 to 20 min. away in Greenfield, Turners Falls or Brattleboro, VT. Nearby farms offer meats, produce and maple syrup in season. We are close to NMH, Deerfield Academy and Stoneleigh Burnham School.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was immaculate, and was in a beautiful location surrounded by lots of trees. We loved the fresh eggs and vegetables that Trish provided for us!
