we welcome you to our 2-room home (+bathroom and kitchen) in one of the trendiest areas of Berlin.
The place is ideal for couples or families with one or two kids. Even equipment for babies is available (e.g. changing table or baby bath tub).
Surrounding streets are full of little shops, great quality restaurants, coffee shops and bars.
Infrastructure around us is great as well, including underground & tram station, grocery store, playgrounds, bike rental etc.
Each room in our flat is decorated in a different colour and has a different story to tell. Our guests are welcome to discover the advantages of each corner individually.
Since we have a child on our own, we took care about making the place family friendly. In the sleeping room you can find a bed for a smaller child (140x70cm) or use our bed (2x2m) to fit another child there as well. Clean bed sheets and towels will be provided from our side as well.
The living room has a comfortable sleeping couch (1.8x2m), where one can either sleep on as well or simply enjoy a break from a day full of adventures in Berlin. To truly escape the outside world and have a relaxed evening you can rummage in the various books in our book shelf (english, german, russian, spanish, french and swedish) or simply watch Netflix. For families who are passionate about board games we have quite a variety in stock as well (German language).
Prenzlauer Berg, the area you will live in, has plenty of great restaurants to offer. In case you like to cook on your own, you can use our fully equipped kitchen.
If our guests want to eat with the whole family, they can fit everyone at the table of our living room (children seat included). If it's just two people, they can also eat in the kitchen. The dishwasher makes it possible for you to use your time otherwise than with washing the dishes.
Our most private room is the bathroom, where you will find a baby tub for kids or a tub for adults to take a shower or even a bath. In case you want to wash clothes, you can also let them dry on our laundry rack. Anything you need for cleaning something can be found here.
We look forward to share our cosy home with people from all over the world who share our love for Berlin!
The whole flat can be used. Things we don't want you to use will be pointed out.
Interaction with guests
Usually we offer our place at times when we are out of town, which makes it impossible to show our guests around in the city in person.
What we prepared for guests who want to spend some time as locals do, are recommendations for our favourite restaurants, shops, playgrounds and Cafés around the corner. Additionally we have a selection of Berlin book guides here as well. Some interesting places open quite spontaneously, which leads to a simple rule for us as well: trust the locals! If you see a restaurant or similar which is frequently used, try and go there as well. Most of the times locals know the best places around.
Please write your message here, so that both of us can reply to you at any time. Or use Elenas number in emergency cases : +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)
We are happy to help you out.
Other things to note
If you speak either German or English you will be able to interact with most people in Berlin. Should you have special interests (going to a concert, visiting a museum, taking part in a Japanese tea ceremony, visiting an art gallery or similar), please either plan in advance from your home town or let us know in advance. Berlin lives from activities like that, but can easily be overseen, if not prepared in advance.
No big rules, really enjoy the flat and feel at home. Just treat our place as you'd treat yours :)
Thank you for leaving it in a similar state as you find it.
From Sep 1 - Nov 30, 2017 the minimum stay is 5 nights.
