Charming guest room in our 1860-built wooden house in picturesque Sandviken, in the city centre. 15 mins walk to Bergen Harbour/Fish Market, and "direct access" to mountain/hiking from our doorstep; 100 m from sea; minimarket 300 m away (open Sundays).

The room is good for one-two sociable persons (happy to share one 140 cm double sofa bed), who are ok with sharing the bathroom and kitchen with us; both of which we seek to keep clean, but since in daily use not impeccably tidy at all times.

Andreas’s home was charming, clean and in a good location—about a 25 minute (scenic) walk to the city center. Andreas was also a great host, with great communication and local tips. Would recommend!

Perfect accommodation, great welcome and hospitality throughout stay, location was ideal - close to centre, easy access to mountain, and just minutes away from amazing sunsets over the fjord.

Clean, very nice place, we didn't really met the owners, because they have been away, but all best organized, always even caring from abroad. I stayed with my little son, we slept well & loved the bathroom with floorheating! If you love to walk a bit, it's even easy to reach the …

Andreas and his family make Bergen feel warm and cozy even on the rainiest of days. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, including picking up my backpack in the rain and transporting it by bike back to their house from my prior accommodati…
