This Yurt was fantastic with all the amenities of a little wooden cabin and the charm of a yurt it's a winner. The proximity to the Bryce Canyon was incredible and really made our stay fantastic.

Hands down, a fabulous Airbnb to stay in while visiting Bryce Canyon and Zion. It is a very quirky yurt at the same time very comfortable - feels like a homey, clean apartment. Jeannie was an amazing host and very knowledgable about the area. The added bonus, the view is incredible from the yurt. Will for sure come back!!

The long range views were incredible. Yurt was cute, cozy, and clean. The host welcomed us with a tour of the yurt and gave us sight seeing tips. Great communication, attention to detail! Host treated us with care and consideration like we were family. We would definitely stay again!

Jeannie and David's Yurt was the perfect place to end our western roadtrip. The Yurt itself was clean, cozy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Jeannie was very welcoming and informative when we arrived, and provided great recommendations for trails to hike in Bryce Canyon. As much as we loved hiking in Bryce (which is an absolutely unreal landscape), I think our favorite part was star-gazing from the private porch. The sky was insanely dark and clear, which made for incredible views of the milky way and the Perseid meteor shower. My only tip would be to bring some food along if you arrive late. There is a market and a few restaurants in town, but everything seems to close fairly early. We just got home, and were already planning our next trip - Hope to check out Zion Next time!

Jeannie User ProfileJeannie is a superhost.

My husband David and I moved to southern Utah in September of 2015 with our four cats. We bought a former art gallery situated on almost 14 acres that includes three yurts and a barn. We fell in love with the views of the Paunsaugunt red cliffs, Red Rock Canyon, and the Sevier River winding through the valley. We love hiking in the many nearby national and state parks.

My husband is a former elementary school special education teacher and I worked in social services for 27 years before taking an early retirement.

We love to travel, and have visited much of the U.S., as well as several countries, including Australia, China, Costa Rica, Thailand, Canada, and the UK.

For the past four years I managed vacation rentals for my neighbors in Hawaii. I loved meeting the guests from all over the United States and the world. I told my husband that this is the ideal job for me, and I am excited to be able to share our new vacation rental properties in southern Utah with others!
