Located next to the Scottish Parliament and the Palace of Holyrood, is the perfect location for anyone who wants to discover the capital of Scotland.
The very best attractions of the city are up to 10 minutes walk distance or even less: The National Museum of Scotland, Arthur's Seat and Calton Hill (you can find amazing views of them at the flat), the already mention Palace of Holyrood and Edinburgh Castle.
In case any guests need it, instead of sharing the double bed, an individual inflatable mattress can be provided.
The kitchen is everyday available for breakfast, with everything you need to have a proper british breakfast: all kind of teas, eggs and beans for those who want to have the traditional English (too heavy for me...) or you can have just a coffee and some toasts, is up to you!
There is a communal area where you can take the sun, but... this is Scotland, so it's better if you don't expect that.
Interaction with guests
I'm a proffesional tour guide myself of Edinburgh. So if you have any questions feel free to ask at any time.
I can give you tips about where to get discounts for lunch or even the Palace and the Castle.
Other things to note
The east side of the Royal Mile is not as crowded as the west side, where the Edinburgh Castle is located. The Palace is the official residence of the Queen Elisabeth when she is on holiday here in Scotland, one of her favourite destination! And the Queen doesn't like to be in a noisy area.
In this country you can find carpet almost everywhere... so just a simple rule: shoes out when getting into the living room.
