The loft is filled with hand-picked Mid-Century Modern gems and hand-crafted designer lamps, making your stay unique and inspirational.

The space is divided by plants and there is even an indoor garden filled with fresh herbs and greens for your enjoyment.

There are two beds, each fitting two adults, that are in the same space, so you're never too far from your fellow guests.

The loft is in the corner of the building, so there is plenty of natural light throughout the day.

The space

This is a unique building in heart of Mile-X with more than 100 years of history. This Loft is located on the top floor in a neighbourhood without tall buildings. You have the luxury of being on the corner and enjoying two walls of windows during the beautiful Montreal summer.

This loft is pretty true to the pictures. However, it is in an old commercial building above a lighting store. The entry way smells for formaldehyde and the elevator only works decidedly. (Not ideal when three girls have multiple bags) the floors were absolutely filthy and if you have asthma or allergies absolutely do not stay here or even consider it. I had to take medication daily to even sleep. The no air conditioning wasn't terrible because mornings and evenings in Montreal are chilly but upon our arrival the windows were opened and at night it was terrifying to see how many bugs had taken over the loft - amongst the dead plants. I actually had to buy bug spray to sleep in peace and not covered in bites. I thought the neighborhood was trendy and almost comparable to a Williamsburg brooklyn feel until I went to leave MTL to drive back to NYC and my back window on my vehicle were shattered ultimately leading me to believe the neighborhood is not as safe as it is publicized. Do yourself a favor- spend 100 extra dollars and stay in safety in a hotel.

Very unique, industrial-feel loft, spacious, unbelievably light with 2 walls of windows and unobstructed views. Quiet building with elevator (4th floor), excellent wifi. Perfect location for exploring some less touristy areas of Montreal, and it was great to be able to walk to Uniprix for the Rogers Cup, and to the Marche Jean-Talon and some fabulous nearby restaurants. We brought our bikes and had a great time exploring. Ahmad met us at check-in and gave a quick tour. A few cons: parking was somewhat challenging (possibly due to Rogers Cup), but we finally found a spot about 6 blocks away. Well-used furniture and appliances; no air-conditioning although the fans helped; minimal curtains do little to moderate the light; one bed was so high I needed a chair to access it. This is not a 5-star hotel experience, but a unique and fun loft. Overall, a great stay!

Ahmad and Ana's place is absolutely gorgeous. It's an open space that is very thoughtfully laid out, and with beautiful furnishings. It also gets amazing light. We coordinated with Ahmad, who was very kind and accommodating. Mile End is a wonderful neighborhood, and the location of the flat is great: you're right by Jean Talon Market, there's a bunch of great restaurants and bars within a 15 min walk, and there is a Bixi station right outside for bike rentals. Enjoy!

Very cool loft space, beautiful light fixtures (love a good light :), great neighbourhood-we brought bikes and everything was very accessible. The fridge was stocked with drinks and snacks which was a nice treat! We met Ahmed for the keys and he was very nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the price was changed after we booked, I understand that mistakes happen but I do feel once someone books the onus is on the host as it was their error.

This loft is beautiful! It is incredibly spacious and sun drenched. Ahmad and Ana have thoughtfully and stylishly curated the decor in this large, open unit and made this space very unique. Ahmad was very friendly and courteous. He took time to show us all of the amenities of the loft, explain how to work different features such as the gorgeous lamps and dimmer switches, and gave us insight into the neighborhood. The loft is situated in a great location closed to several train stops. We enjoyed staying in a more residential area, outside of the center of the city as it allowed us to take in more of the local culture and ambience. Yet, it was simple to get downtown and throughout the city using the Metro. The neighborhood felt very safe and we enjoyed walking to Little Italy and Mile End day and night. We had a lovely experience at this loft and would certainly recommend it for anyone traveling to Montreal.

I spent a wonderful time at Ana et Ahmad's place. I really enjoyed the brightness, the space and the look of the loft : so stylish and so much space. In addition, the loft is really quiet and the view is stunning. The hood is trendy (close to Jean Talon market, parc Jary...) and close to the subway. It was an authentic and trendy way to discover Montreal. Ana and Ahmad were available. I will recommend this place. Lucas
