This studio cabin is located on 60 acres of woodland about 8 miles from Mountain View. Has walking trails that take you to some beautiful rock formations and an occasional glimpse of the mountains. After that long walk you will have two comfy queen beds with great pillows! There is a loveseat and two big chairs, books, TV, movies, couch, fully equipped kitchen, with shower in bathroom. Back porch has gas grill and a picnic table. Front yard has fire ring. Designed for peace and quiet.

The space
The cabin is only about 15 minutes to Mountain View but offers the advantage of complete privacy! There is about 2 miles of dirt road but they are well maintained by the county.
It’s time to disconnect!
Listen nightly to the Eastern Whip-poor- will right outside the window.
Want some dark skies? Grab your sleeping bag, turn off the lights, lay out on the deck and watch the stars. Beautiful!
Ever heard the sound of wind as it gently blows through a pine thicket? Try it!
If you enjoy exploring, hiking, and nature. check out my walking trails. Along the way identify Arkansas natural wildflowers and native grasses. Walk in the natural wading pool you will find on the trail.
In July find wild blackberries to eat, and muscadines in late September.
Day trips could include the Ozark Folk Center and the gorgeous Blanchard Caverns, and end with fishing at Mirror Lake. You could head out for a swim at Gunner pool, see the 1945 Sylamore Swinging bridge, and end at the Gravity Brew Werks. Trout fishing and kayaking on the White River is also available. If you are into folk/bluegrass music go to the town square late afternoon and you will find it. Check out ozarkmtns.com website for other ideas!
FYI Stone County is dry. No liquor stores in this county.
Don’t forget your hiking boots, sunscreen, and tick spray! TICK spray! This is on 60 acres of woodland so be careful of snakes and other wild critters!

Other things to note
Since the nearest grocery store is eight miles away, guests should bring enough food for their stay! I do keep basic condiments, and coffee, tea, sugar and creamer, and snacks and popcorn.
Anything in fridge or freezer is fine to consume!
For those needing white noise you will find box fans under beds!
Movies are found in the sideboard under the TV as are the lighters to start your fire in the fire ring.
Wood for the fire pit is found by trekking into the woods around the cabin for fallen twigs and branches. Sometimes I do have cut, stacked wood. Usually by the fire pit.
Any foods in the cabin are available for use by the guests.
Shampoo, conditioner and body wash is furnished.
You should feel you are home❤️

Please close trash tightly and place in trash container on the deck.
All wet towels hanging on shower door or pin to hanger on the back of the bathroom door.
Dishes should be washed and put away! Thank you!
