Highly recommend Captain's B&B. 5 stars accommodation! The hosts Steven and his wife are really friendly and kind, we found out that they are Christian too. Their house is a big mansion purposely built for B&B - has ensuite on every rooms. Garden are amazing with beautiful flowers and huge variety of fruit trees! The best part is their breakfast with bacon and egg, not your usual B&B. Always bring surprises! Will definitely come and stay again!

I highly recommend Captain's B&B to anyone that wants to visit Nelson. It was our first time to Nelson and after having stayed at Captain Steven's b&b, we are Very sure there will be many more to come! First of all, Captain's b&b is not like your usual b&b! You can tell it's a big mansion purposely built to do b&b - spacious rooms with bathrooms and beautiful view from the deck, huge outdoor area for BBQ and amazing garden with beautiful flowers and huge variety of fruit trees! Having stayed at luxury hotels such as Hilton and Sofitel around the world, this little gem still managed to surprise and exceeded my expectations. The hosts - captain Steven and his wife are really friendly, kind, and down to earth. You can tell they've put a lot of thoughts into this with every little detail around the house. It is also them that made our stay truly pleasant and an enjoyable one. We will definitely recommend them to everyone we know! 5 stars all round! Recommend minimum 3 nights so you can really enjoy Nelson.
