This was the perfect downtown SLC location. My room had a very comfy single bed and plenty of space. The bath was spotlessly clean and reserved for my use. Most of all, I enjoyed the conversation and sampling of some amazing food. I was gone experiencing Salt Lake most of the time, but liked having a warm friendly home with just the right amount of interaction.

Suzy was great in providing me a place to stay on very short notice when I missed my flight. She was very accommodating. I slept well.

Suzy was very responsive when I asked to check in early. She woke up early so I could drop my bag off due to my travel situation and was very gracious about accommodating it. Great centralized spot for my one night in SLC. Thanks Suzy!

Suzy's place served me well while I was in town on business.

The location is near City Creek train station, is walking distance to the Salt Palace Convention Center, and the neighborhood is very nice, the bathroom and bedroom are clean, not that much the kitchen and the living room; If you don't mind the AC turn on all night long and a little of noise, and don't want to cook there, it's a great place to stay. Suzy and her son are kind and helpful.

The listing was affordable and the host was very kind and welcoming. My two issues were that the shower was very dirty--upon arrival there was a broom and dustpan in the tub with a lot of dirt and debris that I had to clean myself. The room itself was comfortable but the dressers and closet were both filled with someone else's clothes and belongings. I was unable to unpack and lived out of my suitcase. Aside from that they were great communicators and helped me to feel right at home!

Response from Suzy:
The place has professionally cleaned right before arrival and the debris you were referring to was epsom salt to give even more refreshment to the area. It was not dirt ! Sorry that the dustpan was left in the bathroom by the cleaner but we asked several times if you need any help. There were two dressers in the room and one of them was totally empty for the guest. The other one belongs to the person that has just moved out our apartment and she will come and pick it up in the days to come. Since the room is big enough we did not think that it needs to be moved out of the room. The closet had some cloths on the hangers (5-6) from the previous roommate but there were 20 hangers available to be used. The shelf of the closet had extra blanket, pillow and towels in case it is needed by the guest and they are not other people`s belongings. We love books and we love to have them all around the house. The photo of the room and its condition is just the same and the books are visible on those photos. If someone needs the books to be taken out of the room, we can always do accommodate them !
