Cozy room with private access in a bright, clean, and comfortable 1920s bungalow in historic neighborhood near restaurants, bars, and galleries.
People love the minimalist but vintage charm. In your room with a double bed you'll find rare books with unique insight on Oklahoma and mid-century modern furniture. An antique desk/vanity is great for getting some work done or getting ready to go out. The guest room is in the back of the house minimizing street noise and an outside door to your room means coming home late is never a problem.
My home is your home. Please use the fridge, kitchen, living room, back yard, etc. as if it was yours. You will have convenient keypad access to your own, private entry directly into your room. You won't have to worry about noise or privacy no matter what time you are coming and going.
Interaction with guests
When I'm around, I like to learn about you and offer my local perspective on the absolute best places to check out. I'm a veteran AirBnB user and the community is what I love best about it.
Other things to note
My friendly little Cockapoo, T.E., doesn't shed and loves new people. He can be too friendly at times, so if you're not an adorable dog lover you might not be comfortable here.
- Please respect quiet hours from 10pm-6am on week nights.
- Please be mindful not to let the dog out if the back yard gate is open. He loves to visit the neighbors!
- Please clean up after yourself if you use the kitchen to cook a meal.
I work in the aerospace technology sector by day and moonlight as a freelance writer and author of a national security blog syndicated by a large publication.
I love to travel and have spent time in the Middle East, Central Asia, Europe and South America. I'm into locally roasted coffee, farm to table food, and Lost Generation authors. I've never seen a Terrence Malick film I didn't love. Some of my favorite activities are camping and hiking so if there are any good trails in your area let me know!
