You get a lovely bedroom with sitting area, your own full bath, and an office/library in our modern townhouse! The whole second floor is yours! We are on a quiet, safe street walking distance to Penn Station and the cultural district of Mt. Vernon!

The space

Well-appointed, quiet private bedroom, private bathroom, AND office/library/music room in our beautiful new townhouse. In the artsy "Station North" neighborhood - quick walk to Penn Station (Amtrak/Marc/Light rail), Symphony, Modell Lyric, free Bus to Downtown, and many restaurants! Kitchen/Roof Deck access.

This is a whole second-floor suite, just for you! The floor includes a large bedroom with full -size bed and sitting area, TV & DVD player, a full bath, music room/office/library (with your own microwave and mini-fridge), and a washer/dryer! The suite sleeps up to 2 people, but a blow-up mattress is available for up to 2 more additional guests.

Guests have their own private full bathroom, with access to an additional shared half-bath, roof-deck access, and shared kitchen, dining and living areas. We want you to feel at home!

Although we travel frequently, at least one of us will be home when we host you, to make sure you have everything you need! We have our private space on the 3rd floor, but we are happy to share an occasional coffee or give you pointers about the neighborhood and city to make your visit more pleasant! Just let us know how we can make your visit perfect!

We love living in Station North - it is filled with art galleries, an independent movie theatre, music venues, and some great restaurants (crepes are our current fav!). There are spectacular murals on lots of our neighbors houses and even a gallery walk right down our street!

We are VERY close to public transportation!! Pennsylvania Station is only 5 blocks away with Amtrak trains, the Light Rail, and Marc trains to DC. The FREE Circulator bus also stops there, for very easy access to the Inner Harbor, Stadiums, Federal Hill and National Aquarium. The JHU Shuttle is also located outside Penn Station. The Bolt Bus to NYC is also only a 10-15 min walk from the front door!
If you drive, we have plenty of free street parking surrounding the house and a parking pad as well - just in case there is the rare chance you can't find a spot for some reason! We've got you covered!
Driving to BWI Airport only takes 20 mins, but you can also take the Light Rail from Penn Station for only $1.60! Yep, $1.60. :)

Please note, we do have one large, friendly cat named Perry who stays on the 1st floor. He is quite respectful, but not hypoallergenic.. :)

Free parking on premises

We had a great stay with Courtney and Jeff (& their very sweet cat Pierrot/Parry.) They were very accommodating with our arrival/check-in time and the accommodation/amenities are exactly as seen in their Airbnb profile (with some minor & simpler redecorations in the office.) We had the use of the entire second floor with it's very comfortable and lovely semi-ample bedroom, mid-size bathroom and office with a very handy mini-fridge, and microwave. We also used the shared kitchen a few times, and the hot beverages hutch, as well as the washer/drier, which come very handy after several days of sightseeing in very hot temperatures. It was nice to repack our clothes washed & dried. We didn't get the opportunity to meet Courtney, but Jeff was a very lovely host (in the few times we got to interact.) We really liked their artsy neighborhood with its community gardens and beautiful murals. Their lovely and very convenient townhouse is just a few minutes away from Penn Station. In fact, one can see the station from the top of E. Oliver St. & Guilford Ave. pity there's no straight path to the station due to the bridges, highway & train tracks. Still, it gave us the opportunity to discover new pathways/shortcuts to the train station and the Purple Line Circulator. Baltimore is truly a "Charm" city! There was so much to do and see during our stay, and being hosted by Jeff and Courtney truly enhanced our mini-vacation. The Inner Harbor is quite compact and everything seems to be at a decent walking distance. Great place to jog or walk your dog early in the morning too. Also, as an iPhone5 owner (with its ongoing battery issues) it was great to find that some light poles around the harbor have outlets to plug-in and charge while you seat and admire the great view. On that note, we truly appreciated the beautiful panoramic view of Baltimore City from the World Trade Center observation floor. The Gallery in the Inner Harbor has several stores and a sizable (fast) food court, but the entire city seems to be well stocked with amazing restaurants and convenience stores. The most 7/11 stores we have seen anywhere in the world. Everyone we came across seemed to be very polite and welcoming. There's constant public transportation everywhere too. We mainly used the FREE circulator bus routes, which practically take you everywhere in the city, especially the historical/touristic sites. We also used the Light Rail once, and it was a funny lesson learned, when we (unaware of the policy) didn't press the green buttons to open the doors to gain access, and were left on the platform :-)! All in all, going to Baltimore & staying with our hosts was a great way to explore the amazing city of Baltimore. We are definitely going back.

AWESOME hosts. This was my first experience with air bnb although we used a couple over the weekend. This was by far the best place. Very clean, neat, and comfortable. It was easy to get around the area and Jeff and Courtney gave great recommendations through a nice typed statement we carried with us, along with the map we provided. I am so glad we found this place and are so thankful!! Great stay.

I only stayed for one night at Jeff & Courtney, but if I'd every come to Baltimore again, I would absolutely chose their place. They are wonderful hosts and have thought of everything to make their guest's stay pleasant. The house is very nice and as described you get your own room, bath and office! The place is in walking distance to Penn Station and the free busses, access to DC and airport. Also, the artsy neighborhood is definitely worth a visit. Recommendations, for sure!

The space was quite nice for my two boys and me, and the location was excellent for our needs! Jeff and Courtney were very accommodating, and I enjoyed our chats (brief though they were). I appreciated the map of the area, and the tips on getting around. I would definitely stay there again on another occasion. Two thumbs up! : )

Jeff and Courtney are delightful and welcoming. I was sorry not to get to spend more time with them as they were both very busy with current productions- they are professional opera singers! I felt as at home with them as if I had known them for some time. I felt equally at home in their home- the whole second floor was mine, bedroom, bathroom and office complete with microwave and fridge. This said, I was free to use the kitchen on the main floor. Everything was very comfortable, clean and attractive. They even provide shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, hairdryer and other helpful items in the immaculate guest bathroom. For me too, living in a rural area as I do, I appreciated how quiet their neighborhood is- no noisy neighbors or street noise, a huge plus. Jeff and Courtney live in the North Baltimore Arts District, just a few blocks away from the Mt Vernon District. I was there for a conference and didn't have a lot of time to explore but thoroughly enjoyed my daily walk from their house to the free bus stop to take me downtown. On the one night that I walked from downtown to their place after dark, I felt very safe. They were immensely helpful with transportation information, restaurant recommendations and things to see. Great people, great place. I would certainly stay with them the next time I go to Baltimore.

First thing I can say is thank you to Jeff & Courtney for being two of nicest people I've had the privileged of meeting whilst travelling around America. So when I first arrived into Baltimore I went through a bad area since I arrived by taxi and thinking the worst but soon as I came into their and got the front door of the apartment I knew I was somewhere safe and clean. The apartment is amazing very clean and welcoming even their pet Cat perry is friendly he love's a good head rub. This apartment is in a good location for the train station which is only a ten minute walk and around fifteen to get food or to 7/11. So you have the whole middle level of the apartment for you to use which would be ideal for anyone staying for some time, the bed is very comfortable, the room is clean well spaced, is as described (if I ever come back to Baltimore I'm hoping to stay here) the bathroom is great. Jeff & Courtney are amazing people who are very friendly and welcoming when planning to get to Baltimore they helped in everyway to make sure I arrived safe to the apartment and gave me map of the city showed where everything was on the map. Their knowledge of the city and America it's self is amazing I learnt a lot from speaking to them that night. This review does not give them justice of how nice the room and their apartment was all I can say is book with them you will not regret it! Last thing they have a coffee/tea area set up for you so you can make a drink in the morning and it's A+
