Camp in our quiet country yard and observe the eclipse without leaving your campsite. We are located in path of totality and are only 3 miles from Centerline. One of 10 primitive tent sites. Please note-NO TENT OR AIR BED ARE PROVIDED. Tent site approximately 12' x 12'. No showers. Pets welcome if well mannered and quiet.
We live on a small acerage 3 miles from a small farming community of about 800 people. Our nearest neighbors are 1/4 mile away. We are surrounded by fields of corn and soybeans. We have a hammock, fire pit and large porch for you to enjoy. Miles of country roads to walk or bike down. Lots of birds to enjoy and a couple of outside kittens.
Guests have access to porch, fire pit, front yard. No guest access to main house.
Interaction with guests
We live on this property. In process of rennovating our 100 yr old house. We are available to interact with you as much or as little as you desire.
Other things to note
We do not have a fenced yard and live out near fields so we do on occasion have critters (opposums, racoons, skunks) wander into our yard so do not leave any food (people or pet) out over night. And don't forget your solar eclipse viewing glasses.
No smoking on premises.
Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
No open fires. Charcoal grills ok.
Pets must be leashed, kenneled, or staked out. Do not leave pet unattended. Pet parents must clean up after their pets.
This is our home, so please leave campsite as you found it-clean. Dispose of trash and recycling in designated bins.

We do have some "critters" that visit during the night...the occasional oppossum, racoon, skunks. Do not leave food or garbage out side. Put in vehicles at night.

Married for 31 years to my beautiful wife and best friend, Carolyn. Have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Live in rural community in South-Central Nebraska.
2 grown daughters. I (Dean) work for Union Pacific Railroad and travel alot. Enjoy getting to see alot of new places and meet new people. My wife usually books my reservations so your interaction will be with her when booking, changing, or cancelling. She will relay anything pertinent to me.
