About this listing
Johns Island is on the first floor of our historic three room Inn and has a farmer's porch with a side-view across Bass Harbor. This room is street side and faces a meadow which is filled with lupines in the spring. Take the staircase to the shore, watch the tide change and look for your favorite shore bird - guillemots, loons and eagles are frequent visitors.
Johns Island has a Vermont Castings gas fireplace, queen and twin beds, under-the-stairs private shower bath, in-room coffee and in-room refrigerator, flat-screen tv and a/c. Free wifi. Free parking. Two night minimum.
Our private setting offers interesting birding and soothing views. Take our staircase to the shore and launch your kayak with the tide - please store watercraft (and bicycles) on your vehicle.
