Nina's place is great-- cozy with plenty of space, super easy access to multiple trains, and there's great food and cool things to do right in the area as well. The apartment itself feels very homey, and has all the amenities you need. There were a couple snafus with keys and wha…

Nina was a nice host. We stayed for 5 days in New York. Ninas apartment is located in Brooklyn not far away from the next subway station. The apartment was clean, with enough space and a good equipment.

While I appreciated Nina's place being available on short notice, I would not recommend it for those that are concerned about non-intimidating neighborhoods or their absolute safety. Both nights we were greeted by 8-10 guys hanging our around the entrance of the building, some s…

Response from Nina:
Yep, James. This is New York City and definitely not a gated suburb community. I cannot prevent other humans from living their lives in public spaces. Sorry you ran into someone doing marijuana but that does not make the neighborhood nor the neighbors a threat. All of my guests are completely safe and have never had any issues with danger. As far as cleanliness, Airbnb has already been informed about the grotesque state you left the apartment in. The apartment had been professionally deep-cleaned only hours before you arrived and a quality check was subsequently performed by my co-host to assure things were up to par. My co-host, also, reached out to you to make sure you were OK once you checked in, to which you never responded. If you had responded, we could have rectified your wifi issues or at least explained to you how to reset the wifi router.
