The bus was a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Eric and Jennifer were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again.

My boyfriend and I had a blast staying at Jennifer and Eric's property! The school bus is the perfect getaway with gorgeous sprawling nature in all directions. It's far more spacious on the bus than it appears in photos and the bed is super comfy--even my 6'1" partner had a great night's sleep. Eric gave us perfect directions to hiking and waterfalls as well as how to get into town where we had an awesome meal. Lastly, their friendly dog, Gypsy, was an absolute dream come true! Highly recommended!

If you are looking for peace and quiet and don't require a lot of space or amenities this is for you. Eric and Jennifer have transformed a small bus into a cozy guest room, with a small stove, composting toilet, and shower (cold water). Good food nearby in Fort Plain and excellent homemade ice cream in St Johnsville.

This is a cool and relaxing little getaway in a beautiful part of the state. Cozy, inviting, and fun for the adventurous! A great foray into the joys of solar power and spring water for the uninitiated, and a gem of a stay for those with more experience in off grid life. Eric is very friendly and helpful-- gave us great recommendations for some local hiking with beautiful waterfalls when we got there . We look forward to visiting again!

Our stay was fantastic. The bus was a great way to enjoy a peaceful setting. It had everything we needed. Simple, clean, and creative! Eric was a great host. He shared so much knowledge with us about the local area from waterfalls, plants, and Herkiner Diamonds. We learned so much from him, and he was so personable, friendly, and genuine.

A very cool and convenient spot to stay! Hosts were warm and welcoming! The scenery was beautiful. One host gave a great tip to see nearby waterfalls, and we enjoyed them very much.
