Wood-shingled cottage in semi rural Carmichael on a dead-end street with close access to a walking trail down to Ancil Hoffman Park, a golf course, a 17-acre nature preserve and the 23-mile American River Parkway. In the other direction, I'm just half a mile from the main Fair Oaks Boulevard thoroughfare with a collection of eateries at the new Milagro Center along with many other amenities.
My home is a three-bedroom house with one shared bathroom nestled on a third of an acre. There is off-street parking available. The guest room is a spacious private lower level bedroom with garden views, front and back with a queen bed and lounge area. A comfortable pull-out single bed is available for a third guest upon request.
You are welcome to join me in using my living room, kitchen - and of course we'll be sharing the one and only bathroom! (If you don't mind, I don't mind!). As a passionate gardener, I also invite you to spend time and enjoy the greenery and nature of my backyard. Relax under the redwoods in a double hammock, stretch out on lounge chairs and listen to the nature around you or have a coffee on one of the patios.
Washer, dryer and iron are also available.
Interaction with guests
As a British ex-pat and traveller, I enjoy hosting people from all over. I would be happy to share a drink and stories with you, but similarly if you prefer to keep to yourself, I am quite comfortable with that too . I'll take my cue from you! If there's anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable, please don't hesitate to ask!
