Built in 1850 this flour mill has been beautifully restored and is situated on the Kowie River overlooking the sea and river mouth. With your own jetty you can moor your boat or just take a paddle upriver in the canoe.
The main house has a huge double volume open plan living/dining area downstairs with old fashioned stained glass doors opening up onto a patio and river. A sea-facing patio is on the mezzanine level where you can watch the boats enter the river mouth. It is a wonderful home with lots of character and history in the 600mm thick walls. There is a brand new Weber braai (barbeque).
Guests will have access to all rooms in the house. There is a cottage next-door but will be closed up and not available to guests. There are two garages, one which is automated.
