This is a cabin in the woods while in the town... minutes away from the center of town while truly in a setting that seems far from town... a beautiful trail from the cabin that is more like National Geographic... a cabin that was very well thought out inside and out..... We'll be back!!

Stay here! My boyfriend and I were hunting for a last minute trip for Labor Day weekend and we were so so happy we found this place! The house is perfectly quaint, clean, with everything you need, while still feeling rustic and allowing you to escape! The town was also awesome with delicious restaurants, a great brewery and butcher. The river is also beautiful! Couldn't say enough great things.

I loved this humble little home and wish I could have stayed more than one night! Caroline is a fantastic host! I showed up to a super clean and comfortable place. I didn't stay in the home for that long since I was mostly out and about, but when it came time to freshen up, there was ample water pressure and a bed that was as comfy as the one at home. If I'm ever in the area again, I will book this place!

We absolutely LOVED our stay in this cozy little cabin. It's tucked away from the road and surrounded by trees, so it feels private and secluded - yet it's only a mile walk through the woods to town, so you can easily reach "civilization" - coffee, groceries, restaurants, music, etc. The space is beautifully decorated and contains everything you need - huge porch with lots of lounging areas, grill with a propane burner, comfy couch and chair, very comfortable king-sized bed, small fridge, toaster, etc. Kitchen has some supplies, but if you plan to prep your own food, you may check in w Caroline ahead of time about what additional things you need to bring. Caroline was a wonderful host - emailed instructions ahead of time and was very responsive to questions; also left thoughtful snacks, drinks, bathroom supplies, etc. We loved the access to the fire pits and canoe. Can't recommend this place highly enough!!

This home is an awesome respite from living large. Designed as a little home, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a beautiful outdoor surrounding and access to a canoe. It is very close to the Haw River Ballroom, The Eddy Pub, Saxapahaw General Store and many outdoor activities. We will be back!

Perfectly sized and situated for a quiet, secluded get away for two. It would be possible for kids to join, but be aware that the kitchen & common space is tight if you can't get outside. Lots of well-done details and modern build make the space cozy and fun. Has a tiny-house feel without being cramped. We enjoyed the games and snacks Caroline left for us, very kind! Large screen porch and set up to enjoy the nice weather - definitely a great way to experience Saxapahaw! The trail leading to the canoe or to town is quite a bit overgrown this time of year (would definitely change seasonally, I bet), but it is quiet and picturesque. The home helps you slow down and relax in to Saxapahaw speed. Caroline is a great host - very communicative and relaxed. Would definitely recommend!
