Allan is the nicest, kindest, best host you could ask for. The place was amazing—but what made it special was (you guessed it) Allan. Absurdly friendly, funny, witty, if you've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs you're in for a treat. If you've never stayed at an Airbnb, good luck! Allan sets a bar that can't be reached. BOOK THIS ROOM!!!!!! Allan turned an ostensibly great into an unforgettable one.

Great location, but would not say it was worth $95. The room was very smelly, we could not open the windows and the bathrooms were not well taken care of.

This was a fabulous find! The location is very close to downtown, very walkable to everything. The rooms are huge and everything you need is onsite. Allan is a fantastic host and incredibly flexible and helpful, I would highly recommend staying at any of his properties!

Allan's place was lovely. Beautiful and historical building! The Vicarage is within walking distance to all of the sights in historic downtown St John's. The Rooms are located behind the Vicarage a short walk away. Close to some trendy cafes and restaurants, George St. Pubs and shops. I highly recommend Allan's place to stay when in St. John's.

The place was in a great location, right close to the city centre. The house actually has many rooms which are let so people are always coming and going. This makes it easy to meet new people day to day but also might be a little noisy for some. However, if socialising isn't your style then the rooms are very spacious so you can relax there after a day/night on the town.
