Birches is a single-level family cabin located about 1/4 mile from the shores of Wild Goose Pond. It’s secluded enough for privacy yet a short walking distance from the activities down by the lake. Birches has a comfortable living room area, a screened patio and a large and open kitchen/dining area with an island. Walking trails are right out the back door. Birches is a great space and possibly our best value on the property!
Just outside your door find rough log benches, stone sculptures, beautiful native wildflowers, blueberries and raspberries in season, and the call of the loon, all of which make a stay at Graylag special.
You have access to our 300 acres of trails and waterways, including a well equipped waterfront. Midway is open to all guests -- a woodland cabin that features wifi, couches, a piano, and space to sit and talk. Graylag also has two firepits, a dock and float, miles of woodland trails, wooden swings, and plenty of quiet and space to unwind and enjoy nature.
Interaction with guests
Graylag's owner, Carl, lives on site, and additional staff are available to answer questions.
Other things to note
Our guests come to Graylag to enjoy the quiet natural setting, so please -- no loud parties, and remember that noise carries on the lake.
