Alina and me have stayed in this house for 4 months for our exchange program in Mcgill University and it is generally a very nice place to stay in (recommended) Pros: 1. apart from what is included in the information that Airbnb provides, everything you need is offered if you want to cook. There are a lot of cookers, sauces and spices 2. Nice neighborhood. it only took us 10 mins to walk to Mcgill University and the place is within walking distance to attraction. 3. Nice Chinese house owner who helped us fix a lot of problems such as lights, kitchen and electricity Cons: 1. The sound insulation of this house is very bad. You can clearly hear everything from upstairs and the aisle outside. Therefore it is not a party-friendly place. 2. The lights in living room is weak even after we changed the lightbulb. And we don't have bright lights in our own bedroom(I personally have only a lamp and my roommate has a very weak ceiling light). Therefore it's not a good choice for us to study at home.

Simon's apartment was perfect for long-term stay. It was small but cosy, and ideal for two to four people. Very warm in winter and lovely afternoon sun. The apartment was within walking distance to McGill, Mile End and St Catherine - the main shopping strip. There is also a metro station a 10 minute walk away. Simon was ready to help if there were any problems and was quick to respond. We would recommend Simon as an Air BnB host and his apartment to anyone who would like to experience the wonderful and vibrant city of Montreal.

I recently stayed here for three weeks at the height of winter and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The apartment is perfectly situated to be within walking distance of everything. In fact, I didn't take public transit once. The old port, plateau, downtown; it was all so conveniently close. The space itself is quite cozy and warmly decorated, and I enjoyed cooking meals in most nights. Grocery stores and dollar stores were all within a block or two. Many great restaurants, cafes and nightlife are just minutes away. Jean and Simon were very easy and helpful and I couldn't have hoped for a better experience!

A very nice location for this apartement, very close to downtown and 5 minutes walk from Mont Royal. Simon, and Jean our neighbourgh, were very friendly and helpfull answering our questions. We stayed for 4 weeks and we were pleased with the apartement all through this stay.

What an awesome place to stay in Montreal! An amazing quiet and cozy apartment! I recently stayed here for 3 months while on a short work contract. This has to be one of the best locations to be in Montreal. You're close to everything, whether it be cool bars, shopping, or restaurants. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone looking to spend some time in Montreal ( short or long term )

Such a cute place!! I'm so glad we stayed there!! The place is located right down town - about 2 blocks away from Saint Laurent street - which is THE place to go out to eat and party. It's also super close to Place des Arts, shopping, and the mountain, where they have many great outdoor activities. There are TWO closed bedrooms, so it's convenient for two couples. We didn't even use the second (URL HIDDEN) living room has an extremely comfy couch and a cool lounging chair. It's really nice to have an actual apartment when you're traveling! The entire place is hard-wood, and has the cutest little balcony in the front where we had our morning coffee! Really cozy, comfortable, clean and extremely well-located. You can walk absolutely anywhere from here - you don't need to drive, cab or take the subway. Great value for the cost!! I know where we're staying next time we come to Montreal!!

Needed a place to stay in close proximity to the downtown hotspots. This apartment was great for the most part. The bathroom and kitchen are dated but if you aren't too picky and want to be close to the action, this place is definately an option and was reasonably priced. Good main living area and bedrooms and walking distance to the nightlife scene and attractions!
