Our apartment is centrally located in Denver. It is walking distance to Cheeseman Park, downtown, and a number of great bars and restaurants. Our apartment is a great place to relax, with an awesome queen bed in the bedroom, a spacious office with two monitors and two standing desks and a comfortable couch in the living room. Second bed (inflatable) can be made available upon request.

*In the pictures, the back of the couch is missing. It will be fixed by the time you arrive.

The space

The open floor plan makes it a great space for relaxing, cooking, touring, working from home, watching movies, working out, etc. We have a great view of the Mountains even though we are on a lower floor. The appliances are all super modern, with an icemaker in the freezer. Oh and we have a dishwasher!

It was great to have Sophie's place to ourselves but tbh I really had wished the "luxury" in the description was a bit more fitting. Average apartment, I personally am not a fan of rugs or musty smells. We had really chosen this place for the amenities, but some were slightly lame -- ex: sauna in the building did not get hot enough to produce sweat, we tried twice lol Some things in the descriptions of amenities just weren't as expected, but then again I may just have higher expectations, ex: instant coffee surely is not coffee, but then again everyone has different taste. Sophie was very helpful, we appreciated the accommodation, but as far as personal preferences are concerned, next time instead of focusing mostly on amenities I'll look for something a little more up to date/modern. Overall Sophie is super accommodating & responds quickly, plus they give plenty of privacy! We did really feel like we got to live in Denver for a week and that was fantastic. Thanks again!

Response from Sophie:
Hi Gina, I'm sorry if the apartment did not fit your definition of "luxury," but this is how the apartment building is billed and I am definitely happy with the luxury it offers. As far as the "musty" smell, I apologize if that was an inconvenience -- Denver is pretty widely known for being "420 friendly" and many residents in the building do partake. As for the sauna, I believe there is a sign posted explaining this, but you do have to turn it on about 10 minutes before using it for it to get hot. I actually appreciate that the building does not leave it on 24/7 for no reason since it is environmentally friendly. As far as the breakfast, the listing says "breakfast, coffee, and tea." We asked exactly what you would like us to offer, and bought what you requested (orange juice, almond milk, cereal, and eggs). There was instant coffee and tea available. The listing makes no mention of the building being "modern," and I actually love how the building is a historical mansion which was expanded to become an apartment building, and they actually kept all of the original antiques, including stained glass, furniture, paintings, historical photos, and historical maps downstairs. However, the apartment was renovated just a year ago and has all marble countertops and track lighting. Coming from comparatively "humble" origins this feels rather luxurious to me, but then again, everyone has a different experience with luxury I suppose. I hope you enjoyed your time in Denver and thank you for the respect you showed to the apartment.
