Double room in a charming country house very near Hythe. Sandling railway station is nearby as is the Romney and Hythe district railway. Great shopping in Canterbury or Ashford and the channel tunnel is nearby with access to France.
I am a freelance opera singer with a passion for cricket, wine and cooking. My wife and I have been restoring this wonderful house once frequented by Noel Coward and the du Mauriers. Built in 1460, the house is a riot of wooden beams, carvings and inglenook fireplaces. The Arts and Crafts music room, 40 foot long, is light and sunny and overlooks the garden.
