Charming light-filled bungalow is steps away from Asheville's best. You'll be in West Asheville but have easy access to downtown, the River Arts District, and to the interstate to get you out into the mountains. The house has everything you need to make your trip to Asheville fun and relaxing.
**Low prices since this is a new listing**
My small 1920's bungalow beckons you to come in to sit and stay awhile, but with so much within walking distance you'll be out the door in no time. The front porch is great for catching the morning light. Original paintings fill the rooms (I come from a family of artists). The house features an updated kitchen and bathrooms, but still has tons of charm and quirks.
I live here, so you'll find my things, but not clutter.
There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a small bathroom off it. The living room has a fairly comfortable futon that I think is full sized. The second living room has another futon that is short and less comfortable.
Be nice to the neighbors.
After a year-long saga of globetrotting, I finally realized that the mountains of Western NC that I had left behind years before were the place I wanted to call home. I've settled in Asheville, but still like to get out for new adventures. I enjoy getting to know people with diverse perspectives and spend a lot of time outside (biking, climbing, and running). Day to day I work at think tank focused on how we're going to address climate change.
